First Post
I would considermyself as a good listener. I'm able to sit down and be quite without cutting people off in mid-sentence while at the same time interact with them by inserting comments or questions into a conversation that relate to what we're talking about. The hardest part for me about listening is that at times I can easily get distracted and lose interest in a conversation. As a dubbed leader, I need to focus more on ignoring distractions. I do know that from experience that I can listen and produce results when I stay engaged for most if not all the discussion.

Hey,
ReplyDeleteI agree you are able to be quiet and you are pretty attentive but you might want to look into producing more feedback. It would prove to the speaker that you are involved and interseted in the conversation.
Matt i agree this does sound like you. I also am able to more so hear a conversation and resopnd/interact with out reall listening. It is like my mind it doulbe-tasking; which is not fair on my part to the other listener and speaker. I also need to work on tuning out and ignoring the distractions, so i can really be ingaged in the conversation.
